Charles II Oak and Snakewood Chest of Drawers
A beautiful example of a very early
chest of drawers circa 1660.
In excellent condition with the added
luxury of being inlaid and decorated with Snakewood (still one of the
most sought after timbers on the planet).
This chest is of superior quality and made to a very high standard in
its era, using small sections of timber to ensure a fine elegance to its
appearance and a lightness in its weight.
The chest is in two sections, as is common for its day, and retains its
original bun feet.
Viewings by arrangement.
